The Clocktower, National and International Studio Artists Exhibition, The Institute for Art and Urban Resources, New York City. Dimensions: Elements: Materials: Site Description: |
World View II was set flush into a wall and viewed through a plane of glass. The aperture revealed a series of layers within a shallow perspective. Small, energetic bubbles spiraled up through an invisible field of water and filled the entire picture plane. Beyond, a mirage of trembling, horizontal blue thread was set against a landscape of white sand mounds pierced with thin, red javelins. A veil of fluid silk appeared like rising steam in the far distance. The work was a celebration of the world. |
